Just a quick analysis on the best player at each position and the best value (expected production vs. draft position).
Read it here, discuss it here.

I havent seen anyone else say that Grubbs isnt the best guard in the draft. Kiper is so high on him that he said Grubbs would be a yearly probowler.

he must not have gotten his big board back in the correct order after his accident last week .
and the debate between Grubbs and Blalock is a pretty heated one. I happen to be on the Blalock block and most boards have him there, but Grubbs is a legitimate option there. Both should have great careers. But from my point of view, Blalocks strength combined with his mean streak and his athleticism (played tackle in college) puts him over the top and if you're the best (in my mind) and the only other one that really can challenge you for that spot is likely going within 5 picks of you, you're the best value as well.

Kiper isnt the end all of draft experts but he said if Grubbs position of Guard was more highly coveted in the draft he would be a top ten pick. Im sure they are both good and we wont know how good for some time. Im just putting that opinion out there. Grubbs is 17 on kipers top 25.

i don't deny that Grubbs is a great prospect, i just don't hold him as highly as Kiper does, probably because i handicap his draft position for his position on the line.

Ok my next question: Why Revis over hall at CB? Revis seems to be climbing but is he really a top ten pick?

Glad to see you had David Irons as best value at CB. I agree with that.

I'm not some crusty old guy who sits around his house wondering what this whole "cell phone" nonsense is.
