Great Job Fent! If we end up with Anderson and Branch, I'll be turning cartwheels. That is the best scenario I've seen for the SKins in any of these mocks.

If Branch is still there in the mid 20s, and I know this will rill up people, but the skins should deal back into the first round for him.

This is a cinderalla scenario. We would go from the worst DL to the best in one off-season.

Do we even have enough cap space to sign 2 1st round picks? If this happens, does that mean that Wynn, Daniels, Salavea'a, and possibly Springs are all going to the waiver wire?

Ahk,
Are you saying if Branch is available in the late teens that we should trade next years first round for him?
I agree.

Signing Anderson means either Wynn or Daniels is gone on 1 June. That helps with the cap and is a benefit of this deal. Signing Branch means the same for Salavea.

if you are right, it is a dream scenario for the skins and their ticket back to dominating defenses
BUT
i do not think springs, or anyone else onthis team, ,is going to be traded
hope you are right, but we will see

totally agree.. even if it means using next years draft.. 2 anchors for the d line would be huge for this team

Wow!!! Branch & Anderson is a dream sceanrio. I would definitley trade a 2008 2nd rounder (not our 1st rounder though) to get Branch. Great Mock.

you need to be serious about this.. if we are going to get a shot at a second first rounder (branch) it is going to cost most, if not all of our next year's first day picks..even if we throw in springs, he likely only has the value of a second rounder in trade.
so getting branch will be much like getting campbell. we will need to mortgage a large part of the future draft to get a shot at him. at that point you have to ask yourself if he is truly worth it.
simply put, we are not getting a second mid round first rounder on the cheap. the campbell deal is the template you need to think about

You really think Cincy would go for that trade? They would probably want more value for the 25th pick I would think.
But then again, JC was drafted at the 25th pick if I remember correctly and what did we give up for him? A 3rd and 6th rounder and the following year's first rounder if I recall......Is that the same value of what you proposed we would send to Cincy in the trade(a second rounder, a third rounder and Sean Springs)
I do see the Buffalo trade as plausible....I'm curious who you think we would select with the 2nd rounder we picked up from Buffalo if the Cincy trade does NOT go through.
By the way, if the Cincy trade WOULD go through, that would be the steal of the draft. And what would our cb depth chart look like? (Smoot, Rogers, Macklin, Jimoh) Are we comfortable with Smoot as a #1 CB?
