I lean pretty heavily to Thomas, but he still had fewer carries than Bell this week. Not really sure why he's getting fewer touches, but that's the way Payton's doing things in the Big Easy...
That NO offense is so funky. Last night, 8 different receivers caught passes...and 3 RBs shared over 30 carries. You never know who will have a game suitable enough for FF starting material. Take Mike Bell, for example...who got the ball 17 times but only mustered 4 FF points.

However, if PT is getting 15 total touches a game, that should be enough to get you 1 TD and 80 total yards; depending on the matchup. Carolina has the league's top passing defense, so you know they will try and scheme to get pressure on Brees and contain their passing game. If so, NO may continue to run the rock 30+ times and that should get PT his 15 touches.

BTW - Forte finally broke out last week...even if it was against Cleveland and about 7 weeks too late. lol

yeah, that's kind of what I'm thinking with PT. i would hope his play eventually makes Payton realize he needs the ball in PTs hands as opposed to Bell or Bush.

saw Forte's game. knowing his owner in my league, EVERYONE'S going to get a trade offer for him this week. speaking of trade offers, i may try and make that PT/Stewart for Turner offer again...never hurts to ask, especially when they're both coming off 20 point weeks...

PT and Stewart may have had 20+ point games...but so did Turner.

I'm personally holding onto Forte for now...I was encouraged by his 26 reps last weekend; and I really think that will continue as the weather gets worse up North. Plus, it will take 2 solid weeks for people's interest to spike enough on him. The damage is done on him, I'm afraid...

BTW - Us Slaton owners are crapping the bed right now. Dude fumbled for the 100th time last weekend and Moats subbed in and grabbed 3TDs. He made it look easy. Moats is definitely #1 on waiver wire this week.

yeah, i'm definitely looking at Moats, but i've blown a ton of my bid points already, so there's almost no chance i get him. kubiak said he plans on using all 3, so my guess would be brown near the GL, slaton as 3rd down, and Moats getting most of the carries outside the red zone.

the only chance i have of getting turner for those 2 is because he's having to choose between bush and portis as his 2nd RB and he's in last place at 1-7. not much chance i can grab him. but it's worth at least exploring. he said last week that he was open to it.

Plus, Turner should have a big time game next week against the Redskins.

Which way to go?

1. Jay Cutler v zona
2. Eli v the bolts
3. Matt Ryan v our Skins

Thanks in advance.

Ryan vs the Skins. That's who I would start.

Believe it or not...The Redskins have been the hardest defense for FF Quarterbacks to face; at least statistically. Could be from playing inferior teams like TB, STL, DET...etc. But still noteworthy...

Personally....I'd go with one of the 2 QBs playing at home; preferably Cutler.

Yeah, but I think TG and MR will have a field day on our LBers. Especially if they try to have Orakpo covering TG.

i'd go with Brown personally. he's just got too much potential and seems to like playing the pats.

I did a little research and one thing bothers me. Seattle has yielded 6 TDs rushing and the Pats have only given up 1 TD rushing. That worries me. Plus, Brown share carries with Ricky Williams. Smith doesn't come off the field too much.

However, the concern I have with Smith is that he's coming off an injury from last week. I'm worried he won't get the carries he should be.

Thoughts?

Yet again...another Quarterback has a bad day against the Skins.

Seeway - I hope you went with Cutler!

last minute start 'em question...gotta choose one WR and a flex from this list

Ochocinco @ steelers (only reason he's on the list is his matchup, but i don't think i can sit him)

Roddy White @ Carolina (same injury issues as last week)

Jonathan Stewart vs. Atlanta

LeSean McCoy @ San Diego.

I lean toward the first two unless DeAngelo is out.

John Clayton says DeAngelo will "likely play"...but still GTD.

Roddy White was questionable but will play. They say he is close to 100%.

Gotta go with OchoCinco and Roddy, IMO.
